DayofPal- Six civilians were killed early Saturday morning as a result of an Israeli strike targeting Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Local sources reported that Israeli aircraft targeted a security checkpoint near Tayba Pharmacy in Block Nine of Al-Bureij camp, killing at least six people and injuring others.
According to the sources, the victims were identified as Ali Sami Al-Shaqra, Mohammed Sayed Abu Watan, Musa Saleh, Salim Al-Maghari, Mohammed Ibrahim Abdul Majid Al-Maqous, and Mohammed Ali Al-Mabhouh Abu Al-Hassan.
In a separate incident, three people were injured after an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a tent sheltering displaced civilians in the western Al-Raqab neighborhood in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Israeli naval vessels also opened fire off the coast of Khan Younis, while Israeli tanks carried out heavy gunfire targeting central and eastern areas of the city.
Earlier at dawn, Israeli artillery shelled the Al-Nadi area in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
Israeli forces also demolished civilian facilities east of Gaza City, while military vehicles fired toward the eastern and northern parts of the city.
Artillery shelling was also reported in the eastern Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.
Since the ceasefire agreement began in October 2025, Israeli forces have continued to violate it through repeated airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire, resulting in hundreds of casualties.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of fatalities since the ceasefire began has reached 749, with more than two thousand injuries reported, in addition to hundreds of bodies recovered from under the rubble.
The ministry added that since the start of the war in October 2023, the total death toll has risen to more than 72,000, with over 170,000 people injured.
