DaysofPal- A significant increase in Israeli settlers’ attacks has been reported against Palestinian civilians across the occupied West Bank (WB), with new data indicating a 50% rise in such attacks during the first half of 2026 compared to the same period last year.
According to figures cited by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, a total of 660 nationalist-motivated crimes were recorded between January and June 2026, up from 440 attacks during the same months in 2025.
The data, reportedly based on information from Israeli security agencies, points to a growing pattern of violence targeting Palestinian civilians and their property.
The reported attacks include a wide range of violence such as physical assaults, clashes, road blockages, and property damage.
Palestinians have also faced stone-throwing attacks, arson targeting vehicles and buildings, and the destruction of agricultural land.
These developments reflect an escalation in settler-related violence, increasingly affecting daily life for Palestinian communities across the territory.
The figures also indicate a rise in the number of Palestinians affected by such attacks, highlighting broader humanitarian and security concerns.
The increase in the settlers’ crimes comes amid continued scrutiny from human rights organizations, which have repeatedly called for stronger measures to prevent such attacks and ensure accountability for those Israeli settlers who are responsible.
