DaysofPal- A series of attacks by Israeli settlers targeted Palestinian residents and their property across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank over the past 24 hours, reflecting a continued escalation in violence. The incidents have prompted local calls for intensified resistance and popular defense to counter these systematic attacks.
In areas east of Jerusalem, settlers pursued Palestinian shepherds and restricted their movement while grazing livestock, in what residents described as an attempt to block access to land and livelihoods.
Further south, in the Hebron region, settlers raided Khirbet al-Kharaba near the town of al-Samu, marking another in a series of repeated incursions into the area.
In the central West Bank, settlers attacked a Palestinian home in the village of Deir Jarir and raised an Israeli flag on its roof, an act widely seen by residents as a provocation.
In the Nablus governorate, violence intensified as settlers assaulted a child in the village of Jalud, beating him and spraying him with pepper spray. Clashes later erupted between local residents and settlers in the area between Jalud and Qusra, during which live ammunition was reportedly fired toward Palestinian youths.
To the west of Ramallah, settlers obstructed local movement by closing a gate in the Beit Liqya area. This coincided with an incursion into agricultural lands south of Al-Mughayyir village to the northeast, where settlers targeted Palestinian farmers in a further attempt to disrupt their livelihoods.
Violence in the West Bank has surged since October 2023, with frequent incidents involving both settlers and Israeli forces. According to official Palestinian data, at least 1,153 Palestinians have been killed, thousands injured, and nearly 22,000 arrested during this period, underscoring the scale of the ongoing tensions.
