Russia expressed deep regret on Tuesday for the death of a Russian citizen caused by Israeli airstrikes on Gaza.

The Russian Representative Office to the Palestinian Authority expressed its sorrow via Twitter about the death of Jamal Khuswan, a renowned dentist, as a result of an Israeli airstrikes in Gaza.

Khuswan, his wife Mervat, and their 21-year-old son, Youssef, a medical student, were all slain while sleeping in their flat in the heart of Gaza city.

The Representative Office stated that two of Khuswan’s children, 10-year-old Miral and another, were orphaned after his death.

Miral was seen in a video that spread across social media platforms, asking “Where is my dad?” when she arrived at al-Shifa Hospital.

Khuswan, his wife Mervat, and their 21-year-old son Youssef were among the 13 Palestinians killed in a series of Israeli bombings that took place in the early morning of Tuesday.
