Residents of Deir el-Balah are scrambling to find refuge as Israeli occupation forces push deeper into the city in central Gaza. The intensified military operations have forced families to leave their homes, seeking safety in new areas amidst escalating conflict.
The Israeli army has launched a new military incursion in the eastern parts of the city, compelling residents in certain blocks to flee westward. The exodus, which began early yesterday, has seen families hastily packing their cars with basic furniture and belongings, searching for any available space to set up makeshift tents. The situation remains dire as these displaced residents face a severe shortage of humanitarian aid, including essential supplies such as food and water.
The military operations are not confined to central Gaza. Reports indicate that the Israeli occupation army’s actions are expanding to both the northern and southern regions of the Gaza Strip, further intensifying the crisis and leaving more civilians in urgent need of assistance.
The residents of Deir el-Balah, like many others across Gaza, continue to face uncertainty as they struggle to find safety amidst the ongoing aggression.
