Hebrew media on Friday, July 8, revealed a mass grave under an Israeli park for about 80 Egyptian soldiers killed by Israeli forces during the 1967 war known as Naksa (setback).
The report published by Haaretz revealed that about 25 out of 80 Egyptian soldiers were built alive as a fire was ignited in the fields due to the shells. Days later, their dead bodies were buried in a 20-meter grave under the Latrun Village which was occupied by Israel during the war.
According to the report, the Israeli authorities censored the Israeli settlers in the area and prevented them from speaking out about the grave where the Egyptian soldiers were buried.
Latrun Village was located between Jerusalem and Yaffa. Israeli forces forcibly expelled the people of Latrun from their homes. For “Israelis”, the area is now transferred into a park, one of the most important Israeli tourist attractions.
During the 1967 war, Israel illegally occupied the Sinai Peninsula, the Golan Heights, the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and “East Jerusalem”.
Earlier 2022, the Haaretz revealed another mass grave for Palestinians massacred by the Israeli gangs during 1948 in Tantoura village under a popular park.
