Al-Qastal news network documented the killing of four Palestinians by the Israeli occupation forces in occupied Jerusalem and its suburbs last March, including a child.
In its monthly report, the network indicated that 4,263 settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and expelled Palestinians from it, in an attempt to empty it before the holy month of Ramadan.
The network stated that, during March, the occupation authorities issued 18 expulsion decisions from Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City of Jerusalem. The occupation authorities also renewed the order to remove the freed Palestinian prisoner, Yaqoob Abu Asab, from the neighborhoods of East Jerusalem, with the exception of his place of residence.
Last month, March, dozens of Palestinians were injured in Jerusalem by the occupation forces’ bullets and sound and gas bombs fired during the various confrontations. The highest casualties were in the Qalandia refugee camp and Abu Dis.
The network indicated that the Jerusalemite youths rose up last month to confront the occupation forces and settlers. The network counted 56 frequent contact points with the occupation.
The points of contact were repeated in Bab al-Amud, Qalandia Checkpoint, Hizma, Beit Hanina, Sheikh Jarrah, al-Azariya, Abu Dis, Bab al-Asbat, al-Tur, Bab Hitta, Bab al-Qatanin, Bab al-Sahira, the settlement of “Kochav Ya’qub” (in the north), Silwan, Qalandia Camp, Al-Aqsa Mosque, Beit Ijza, Al-Isawiya, Ras Al-Amud, Wadi Al-Joz, Al-Thawri Junction, “Ma’ale Adumim” settlement (east), Bab Al-Khalil, Al-Ram, Muhani Yehuda market (west).
During the past month, “Al-Qastal” documented that the occupation forces arrested 177 Palestinians, including children, and women.
The news outlet pointed out that most of the detainees were severely beaten by the occupation forces, either during arrest or during their imprisonment in detention centers, cells, and prisons with the aim of deliberate harassment and abuse of the people of the city.
It added that the occupation municipality demolished and enforced the demolishing of 10, residential, commercial, and agricultural establishments in Jerusalem and its suburbs.
