German Vice Chancellor Visit OPT, Calls for Investigation of Journalist murder

German Vice Chancellor and Minister of Economy and Energy Robert Habeck visits the Occupied Palestinian territories in addition to Jordan and Israeli occupation in several-day tour.
During a visit to Palestinian city of Ramallah Habeck met with Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh and discussed the political situation in Palestine and the ongoing Israeli escalation.
During a meeting in Ramallah, Habeck called on the Israeli occupation forces to investigate the killing of the Palestinian slain journalist Shereen Abu Aqla, noting that he is waiting for outcomes of such investigation.
“We and Germany stand in a firm position on the protection of international law, human rights and the two-state solution on the 1967 borders,” he stressed.
“We support the development projects in Palestinian territiores including energy sector, especially solar energy in Palestinian refugees’ camps” Habeck added.
