DaysofPal- Several civilians were injured on Saturday after Israeli occupation forces opened fire, in continued violations of the ceasefire now entering its 175th consecutive day.
Local sources reported that at least two people were wounded when Israeli naval vessels fired toward tents sheltering displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis. The injured were transferred to the Kuwait Field Hospital for treatment.
Israeli warships also opened fire along the coast of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
In separate incidents, Israeli tanks fired heavily east of Khan Younis, while airstrikes targeted the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern part of the territory early in the morning. Artillery shelling struck eastern areas of Gaza City, accompanied by intermittent gunfire from military vehicles.
Israeli military vehicles also fired intensively northeast of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Israeli forces have continued to breach the ceasefire agreement in place since October 10, carrying out artillery and air attacks, along with gunfire from military vehicles and naval units. Alongside these actions, there have been explosions and demolitions of infrastructure and buildings throughout the Gaza Strip.
The violations have caused the deaths of 714 people and injured 1,940 others, while authorities have recovered 756 bodies.
Since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, the total death toll has risen to 72,289, with 172,040 people reported injured, according to the Ministry of Health.
