Palestinians in Gaza held Thursday, 15 September 2022 a stand before the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in support of cancer-stricken detainee Nasser Abu Hamid, demanding his immediate release.
The participants renewed their constant support for Nasser and called on the international community to take the fall to save the life of the Palestinian prisoner Abu Hamid, who is dying slowly due to Israeli deliberate medical negligence.
Lastly, a march barged its way towards the headquarters of the United Nations, calling on the international community to take action to rescue the life of Abu Hamid.
Nasser Abu Hamid’s brother, Naji, clarified on September 9 that his brother is dying slowly due to medical negligence, pointing out that the latest medical report calling for his immediate release was disregarded by the IOF.
Israeli hospital of ‘Asaf Harofeh’ abdicated its medical responsibility for the cancer-stricken detainee, Nasser Abu Hamid, recommending his immediate release due to his snappily declined health condition.
Israeli Occupation uses deliberate medical negligence as a common punitive measure against Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails.
600 sick Palestinian detainees have been held in the Israeli occupation jails, including 23 cancer-stricken prisoners.
