A Palestinian man died of the serious wounds he sustained in an Israeli shooting Thursday, 3 November 2022 near the Majlis Gate in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that 20-year-old Palestinian Bader Amer, a resident of the town of Beit Hanina was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces this morning.
Israeli occupation accused Bader of carrying out a stabbing operation against Israeli soldiers stationed near the Majlis Gate in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem to guard colonial settlers who invade Al-Aqsa mosque and prevent Palestinians’ entry and presence.
It was reported that 3 Israeli occupation soldiers were injured in the incident, one of them was shot by a friend’s bullet to the lower part of his body.
Bader is the second resident of occupied Jerusalem to be fatally shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces since the morning hours.
Earlier morning, 42-year-old Palestinian Dawood Rayan, from Beit Duqqu, was shot in the heart and killed by Israeli occupation forces this morning during a military raid into the town.
Last month, Israeli occupation forces killed at least 29 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, making October the deadliest month so far in 2022.
