A young Palestinian man named Mohammed Jibril Ramana lost his life on Friday evening, succumbing to injuries sustained from Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in the vicinity of Jabal al-Taweel in the city of Beit El.
The incident unfolded when Israeli forces fired upon a Palestinian vehicle near the settlement of “Psagot,” which is situated on the lands of Jabal al-Taweel in Beit El.
This indiscriminate gunfire left two Palestinian young men injured before they were subsequently arrested by Israeli soldiers.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health issued a concise statement confirming the death of Mohammed Ramana due to severe gunshot wounds inflicted by Israeli forces.
Another individual suffered minor injuries to the lower extremities in the same attack.
Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers had set up an ambush for the vehicle at the entrance of the settlement.
Upon identifying the two young men inside, they opened fire before proceeding to apprehend them.
It was reported that Israeli occupation forces prevented a Red Crescent team from providing medical assistance to the injured Palestinians, as stated in an official statement by the humanitarian organization.
