A Palestinian young man was shot and killed after allegedly stabbing an Israeli police official near Al-Amud Gate in Occupied Jerusalem, on Sunday evening.
Israeli media outlets reported that border guards “neutralized” the young man, a term used by Israeli security to indicate that the young man was killed on the spot.
According to the Israeli sources, an Israeli police officer was lightly wounded during the alleged attack.
Following the incident, the Israeli forces closed all gates leading to the Aqsa Mosque.
