Abu Obeida, the spokesman of the Al-Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas Movement, announced the release of two American citizens on Friday.
Meanwhile, The spokesman said in a statement on his Telegram account that the release of the two women, a mother and her daughter, was for humanitarian reasons and in response to Qatari mediation efforts.
He said that the step served as proof to the American people and the whole world that the claims made by American President Joe Biden and his “fascist” administration are false and baseless.
Abu Obeida previously announced that Al-Qassam Brigades had 200 Israeli captives.
