Palestinian Prisoner Imad Sarhan faces serious health conditions as Israeli occupation authorities deliberately hold him in solitary confinement, the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-detainees reported.
According to the commission, Israeli occupation authorities intentionally isolated the prisoner Imad Sarhan several times. It added that the last isolation was in 2004 and lasted for four years.
Prisoner Sarhan, 43, was detained on January 1, 2002. He has been subjected to harsh interrogation for more than two months before the Israeli courts issued a life imprisonment sentence against him.
After 22 years of incarceration in Israeli prisons, prisoner Sarhan suffered heart disease and blood pressure. Currently, he can only move in a wheelchair.
However, Israeli occupation authorities practice deliberate medical negligence against Sarhan and up to 600 Palestinian sick prisoners held currently in Israeli prisons.
