The Palestinian prisoner Yousef Miqdad suffered a severe heart attack, and was subsequently transferred from “Nafha” prison to the Israeli “Soroka” hospital, the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) reported.
In a press statement, the PPS pointed out that the health condition of prisoner Miqdad, 61, from the Gaza Strip, is extremely difficult.
The PPS held the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for the health and life of the detainee, Miqdad, who has been detained since November 14, 2002.
Yousef Miqdad, from high blood pressure since his arrest, was sentenced to 21 years in prison, and he is serving his last year in the Israeli occupation prisons.
