Muhja Al-Quds Foundation reported on Saturday, August 5, 2023, that the Palestinian prisoner Mujahid Hussein, completed twenty-one years in captivity and is entering his twenty-second consecutive year in Israeli occupation prisons.
Abu Sari, aged 43, hails from the Nour Shams refugee camp in the occupied Tulkarm Governorate, northern West Bank.
According to Muhja Al-Quds Foundation, the Israeli forces arrested him on August 5, 2002. Subsequently, he was sentenced by an Israeli court to a total of 25 years in actual imprisonment, in addition to ten months.
Mujahid Hussein was born on June 19, 1980. He is married and the brother of Adnan Hussein, who is currently serving a 24-year sentence and is also affiliated with the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine. Both brothers are currently incarcerated in Ramon Prison.
The Israeli occupation is currently holding 5000 Palestinian prisoners, including 1132 administrative detainees, 160 minors, and 33 women.
