Palestinian prisoner, Samir Abu Nemeh, 62, completed Thursday, October 20, 2022 36 years behind Israeli prison bars.
Abu Nemeh is one of the 25 veteran prisoners in Israeli jails since before the signing of the Oslo accords between the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and Israel in 1993.
Abu Nemeh suffers from a critical health condition as a result of his harsh detention and interrogation. He has been subjected to ongoing deliberate medical negligence inside Israeli jails.
He currently suffers from a persistent sharp pain in his right hand and spine’s nerve center as a result of being subjected to harsh interrogations and torture following his detention.
Abu Nemeh lost his loved ones, including his mother and three brothers while he was in jail and in all unfortunate incidents he was prevented from bidding them farewell.
Abu Nemeh was detained in 1986 and sentenced to life imprisonment in jail and is currently incarcerated in Ramon jail.
