A Palestinian old man was reported killed by critical wounds he sustained by Israeli gunfire during a military raid in occupied Tulkarm on Thursday, May 11, 2023.
Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that Ghazi Shehab, 66, succumbed to serious injuries as he was shot in the abdomen by Israeli occupation forces in Tulkarm’s Nour Shams refugee camp.
In a statement, the health ministry pointed out that the number of Palestinians who fell victim to Israel’s brutality so far in 2023 in the Gaza Strip, Jerusalem, and West Bank rose to 141.
On Thursday early morning, Israeli occupation forces IOF invaded Nour Shams camp and wreaked terrible havoc on Palestinian homes and properties.
The IOF opened fire and tear gas canisters at Palestinians. Two were injured as a result and transferred to the hospital. Later, one was proclaimed dead.
In addition, the Israeli troops kidnapped four Palestinian youths, including 2 brothers, during the raid on occupied Tulkarm.
Media sources shared photos that documented the destruction left by IOF to several Palestinian vehicles and properties in Tulkarm’s street.
The Israeli attacks on West Bank coincide with a deadly aggression waged by Israeli warplanes in Gaza since last Tuesday. So far, the Israeli strikes killed 25 Palestinians, including six kids and four women.
