Cairo, Egypt – In a thrilling display of mixed martial arts (MMA) prowess, Ahmed Afif Dahlan, a member of the Palestinian national MMA team, clinched second place in the prestigious Afro-Asian Professional Championship.
The championship, held under the global professional fighting system (PRuo) and sanctioned by the international MMA organization EFC (Extreme Fighting Championship), took place at the Cairo International Stadium.
Sonar Saqr, the president of the Mixed Martial Arts Union, expressed his delight at Dahlan’s latest achievement, highlighting the intense competition he had overcome.
Saqr remarked that this accomplishment serves as a motivation for Palestinian champions to continue advancing, competing, and aiming for victory on international platforms.
He also acknowledged that Dahlan’s success is the result of long hours of training and perseverance, despite limited resources and support.
