50 Palestinian Administrative Detainees are continuing on Thursday, October 13, 2022, thier open-ended hunger strike amid deterioration in health condition for the 19th day in a row against Israeli occupation arbitrary detentions.
Some of the detainees showed signs of fatigue and severe deterioration in health conditions.
The open-ended hunger strike came as Israeli Occupation Service (IOS) practices all sorts of violations against Palestinian detainees including solitary confinement and banning family visits.
Administrative Detention policy is a policy adopted by IOS to detain Palestinians with no legal charge.
Palestinian Ministry of Detainees and Ex-detainees reported that 780 Palestinian detainees including six minors and two women are inside Israeli occupation jails.
The ministry also said that Israeli Occupation issued around 1650 Detention orders in 2022. Most of the orders were issued in August – 272 ones.
From late 2011, Palestinian administrative detainees have gone on 400 solitary hunger strikes against Israeli administrative detention policy
