Jerusalemite prisoner Abdullah Sharbati, 41 years old, from the Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, entered on Wednesday, September 14, his twentieth consecutive year of detention in Israeli prisons.
Amjad Abu Asab, head of the committee of relatives of Jerusalemite detainees, stated that prisoner Al-Sharbati was detained on September 14, 2002.
He explained that the Israeli occupation court issued a sentence against him of life imprisonment 23 times in addition to 50 years in prison.
Several years ago, Sherbati’s father died, and Israeli occupation forces deprived him of attending his father’s funeral or even bidding him farewell.
