Palestinian administrative detainees in Israeli occupation jails continue to boycott the Israeli occupation courts for 111 days to demand an end to the policy of administrative detention.
In early January, the administrative detainees announced a comprehensive boycott of all judicial procedures related to administrative detention.
The number of Palestinian administrative prisoners in the occupation jails has reached more than 535 prisoners, including two women, 3 children, and 2 cancer patients.
Despite the administrative prisoners’ boycott of the Israeli courts from the beginning of the year, the occupation authorities deliberately escalated the policy of issuing administrative orders against Palestinian prisoners.
Israel’s policy of administrative detention allows the detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing.
