Palestinian administrative detainees in Israeli occupation jails continue to boycott the Israeli occupation courts for the 75th consecutive day to demand an end to the policy of administrative detention.
In early January, the administrative detainees announced a comprehensive boycott of all judicial procedures related to administrative detention.
The Israeli occupation authorities escalated the policy of administrative detention since 2015, in which they issued 1,248 orders.
Israel’s policy of administrative detention allows the detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing.
