A United Nations report said – today, Friday – that the Israeli occupation forces have demolished at least 474 Palestinian-owned buildings in the West Bank since the beginning of this year.
The report issued by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Palestinian Territories (OCHA) stated that among those demolished, 150 buildings were financed by donors.
It explained that the demolitions led to the displacement of 656 Palestinians, including about 359 children.

The report indicated an increase of demolitions of 32% of targeted buildings and an increase of approximately 145% in targeting donor-funded facilities compared to 2020.
“84 Palestinians lost their homes on July 14, after the Israeli occupation forces confiscated at least 49 buildings in the Ras al-Tin pastoral community in the Jordan Valley,” the report said.
The displaced people are from 13 Palestinian families, including 53 children and 14 women, and they are still staying in the assembly.

Still, they are at increased risk of being forcibly deported from them, according to the report.
