Days of Palestine – Rabat
The Moroccan Commission for Supporting the Nation’s Causes called for the widest Arab and Islamic solidarity with the people of Jerusalem in the face of the Israeli occupation’s attacks and called on the rulers to sever the relationship with the Zionist entity.
The commission said in a statement that it has followed with great interest the events in the city of Jerusalem, specifically the vicinity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, since the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, in a new Israeli attempt to consecrate the Judaic project and break the resolve of the Jerusalemites.
It stressed that what happened in Al-Quds Al-Sharif comes in the context of a Zionist plan to control Bab al-Amoud, as it is a vital place for the Palestinians of Jerusalem, where they meet on all occasions and stations, the last of which is its transformation into a protest center after the former US president announced his administration’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of the Zionists.
The commission expressed their strong condemnation of what the Israeli gangs are planning to mobilize to storm the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on the morning of Al-Qader night 28 Ramadan, in a prelude to converting part of Al-Aqsa Mosque into a temple for the Zionists.
They also condemned the regular international, Arab, and official Islamic silence towards what is happening in Holy Jerusalem, and its denunciation of all forms of official Arab normalization with the Israeli occupation and considering these normalization steps a stab in the back of the Palestinians, and support for the Zionists to continue their barbaric practices against the Palestinians.
It also condemned the displacement of its people and the robbing of its role and land in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood at the hands of the usurping Zionists.
The Arab peoples, all the honorable people of the nation and its free people, and the people of Morocco, in these remaining days of the blessed ten days, called for various forms of solidarity and protest with Jerusalem and Palestine to denounce the settlers’ incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and in solidarity with the Jerusalemites.
They demanded the nation’s rulers to cut ties with the Zionist entity, and to press for the protection of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem from incursions and Judaization.
