Days of Palestine – Ramallah

Last night, and at dawn today, the Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of raids in various areas in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, during which a number of citizens were arrested, including two women from the towns of Aqraba and Tirmus’.

The Israeli occupation forces continued sweeping operations in the villages extending between Nablus and Ramallah, where they deployed military checkpoints and intensified their patrols, and stormed homes.

Israeli occupation forces arrested Mrs. Sana Al-Shalabi, a day after the arrest of her son Ahmed, while they released her later after several hours of interrogation.

Since Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces have been trying to reach the perpetrator of the shooting attack that took place near the Za’tara checkpoint, which resulted in the injury of three settlers, and the wounds of two of them were described as serious.

Israeli occupation forces arrested a woman after raiding her house in the town of Aqraba, Nablus district, while they attacked several young men at the entrance to the town of Turmus Aya.

The Prisoners’ Information Office stated that the Israeli occupation forces had arrested Mrs. Amal Bani Mounia and took her to an unknown destination, knowing that she was the wife of the detainee, Sheikh Imad Monia, who was arrested, on Tuesday morning, from Aqraba.

Following the incursion, violent confrontations broke out, during which the Israeli occupation fired rubber bullets, tear gas canisters, and sound bombs at youths and homes.

The Israeli occupation forces also beat several young men after stopping a vehicle at the entrance to Turmus Aya town, Ramallah district.

The settlers ‘flocks threw stones at the citizens’ vehicles on the Ramallah / Nablus road near the “Ali” settlement, which led to the smashing of the windows of many vehicles.

In Hebron, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a candidate for the Hamas list, “Jerusalem is our Destiny,” Fadi Jihad Amr, after storming his house in Dura, south of Hebron, and searched it and vandalized its contents.

The Israeli occupation forces arrested Munther Zouneh from Dura, Sheikh Samir Buhais from the city of Yatta, Sari Abu Seif from the town of Samu, Omar Al-Nattah from Idna town, and Hussein Atibish from Hadb al-Fawar, all of whom were released prisoners, leaders, and activists of Hamas movement.

In occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, and raided some homes, and arrested the ex-prisoner Muhammad Al-Khatib (22 years), Abdullah al-Khatib (17 years), and Ezz Osama Salah al-Din (18), his brother Salah Osama Salah El-Din (16 years), and ex-prisoner Mahdi Hussein Ayada Salah al-Din (18 years)

The Israeli occupation forces launch daily arrest campaigns in the West Bank, accompanied by raids, sabotage, and terrorizing the safe population.
