Israeli occupation forces shot wounded a Palestinian elderly woman to the south of Bethlehem on Sunday morning.
Local sources said that 60-year-old Rehab Al-Huroub, a resident of the village of Husan, was shot and critically wounded in the leg by Israeli troops.
Hebrew media claimed that the woman tried to attack the soldiers at Gush Etzion juncture in southern Bethlehem with a knife.

They said that the woman, who hails from Beit Husan village, was carried in a serious condition to the Shaare Zedek hospital in the Occupied Jerusalem.
Last January, Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian man at the Gush Etzion junction, also claiming he had tried to attack them with a knife.
Approximately 70,000 settlers live in 22 settlements there, in constructions considered illegal under international law.
