Days of Palestine – al-Lidd
Israeli occupation authorities Sunday demolished an inhabited house in the city of al-Lidd, claiming construction without a permit.
According to the "Arab48" website, the house belongs to the al-Naqib family in al-Lidd.
The Israeli authorities continue to demolish Arab establishments and homes despite the recent announcement of a freeze on amending Article 116 A in the Planning and Building Law.
It is noteworthy that the Palestinian towns in the 48 lands witnessed an escalation in the demolition of homes, shops, and industrial workshops under the pretext of non-licensing, as happened in Jaffa, Kafr Qasim, Qalansawa, al-Lidd, and other towns in the Negev.
