Dozens of Israeli settlers today stormed the archaeological site of Sebastia, north of Nablus city, according to a local source.

Sebastia Mayor Muhammad Azim said: "Dozens of settlers stormed the archaeological site under the protection of the Israeli military, which declared the site temporarily off-limit for Palestinians and there are expectations that celebrations will be held for the settlers in the region."

He added that the people and national actors will participate today in the commemoration of Land Day in the town of Sebastia, in light of the fierce attack on the town by the occupation authorities, in order to control the archaeological site.
