Days of Palestine – Jerusalem
Last week, more than 170 Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and performed Talmudic rituals with the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, while imposing a ban on Jerusalemites from accessing the mosque except with strict conditions.
Sources reported that settler groups stormed the Al-Aqsa courtyards last week, despite the continued complete closure and heavy rains in the holy city.
The settler incursions came under the strict protection of the occupation forces at a time when Palestinians were prevented from accessing the mosque and performing prayers in it.
The daily incursions continue as part of the tours that start from Mughrabi Gate to Bab Al Silsila, passing through the Bab Al Rahma area, during which Talmudic rituals are performed.
In the same context, groups of "Israeli" occupation soldiers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque last week and spread heavily at its gates.
The imam and preacher of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Ikrimah Sabri, confirmed, in previous press statements, that the Israeli occupation is exploiting a pandemic to implement political plans and restrictions on Jerusalemites in the Old City, especially on Fridays.
Sabri indicated that the settlers' and the occupation army's incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque did not stop or be restricted to health-related restrictions, indicating that these restrictions are imposed only on Jerusalemites in order to reduce the number of worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Sabri called on the Jerusalemites to go as far as possible to pray in Al-Aqsa, taking into account the health instructions such as wearing the muzzle, taking the rug, and spacing in the prayers.
