Days of Palestine – Jerusalem
The Israeli occupation forces, Today, Thursday, kidnapped a Palestinian girl from "Jabal Al Mukaber" area in occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces arrested a girl from the Jabal al-Mukaber neighborhood before brutally assaulting her.
A mobile phone camera for a Jerusalemite documented the scene of the attack by the Israeli soldiers on the girl, despite the attempt by many passers-by to prevent this.
The village of Jabal Al-Mukaber is located on the highest hill to the southeast of the occupied Jerusalem, bordered on the east by the villages of Abu Dis and Al-Sawahrah Al-Sharqiya, to the north by Silwan and the Old City, to the west by Al-Thawri and Sur Baher, and to the south by Sheikh Saad and Sur Baher, with an area of 5021 dunums.
The village has a population of 21,127 people, and it consists of a number of clans.
The village of Jabal Al-Mukaber was occupied and looted by the Israeli occupation in 1967, and the division of lands in that area led to a significant shortage of housing units, forcing young families to migrate from the area.
The residents of Jabal Al Mukaber village are known for their continued resistance to the Israeli occupation, which surrounded the village with concrete barriers and tightened security measures around it.
