Hazem Qassem, a Hamas spokesman, confirmed that the threats of the Chief of Staff of the Israeli occupation army "Aviv Kochavi" to target civilians reflect the logic of orgies.
In a statement on Wednesday, Qassem said that Kochavi's statements about his army’s plans to target civilian residential areas in any upcoming confrontation in the Gaza Strip or Lebanon reflect in all arrogance the logic of the orgy and thuggery that the Israeli zionist enemy acts against our Palestinian people.
Qassem clarified in the statement that Kochavi's threats to commit massacres against our Palestinian people or the Lebanese people are not new.
The Israeli occupation army has repeatedly committed massacres against the Arab people in all confrontations and wars, but every time it is unable to achieve victory against the valiant resistance.
He indicated that this impotence will accompany him in any future confrontation, and his ability to resolve his battles with the Palestinian Resistance will continue to be increasingly far from his reach.
Qassem stressed that the resistance will be present to defend its people from any zionist crime, and it will confuse the accounts of the Israeli occupation and scatter his papers in exchange for any aggression committed by the Israeli occupation and make it pay the price for all of that.
He also stressed that these repeated threats will not stop our people and their valiant resistance from continuing their struggle to wrest their land and sanctities from the clutches of the occupation.
