The family of the prisoner, Ahmed Manasrah, reported today that their son, Ahmed Manasra (18 years), was infected with the Coronavirus.
The detainee’s uncle, Khaled Manasrah, explained that the occupation authorities informed Beit Hanina Service Center that Ahmed had been infected and that they had not provided them with information about his health condition.
In a statement reported by WAFA, he indicated that no information is available about the prisoner Manasrah, and indicated that he was previously in the Naqab detention facility, and that the detention administration informed the family of its intention to transfer him to another detention.
Ahmed Manasra has been arrested on October 12, 2015, when he was 12 years old, after the occupation soldiers shot him and his cousin Hassan, who was killed, and he was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
It is noteworthy that 140 prisoners have been infected with the Coronavirus since the beginning of last April, including two prisoners whose infection was discovered a day after their release, noting that the majority of the injuries were recorded in Gilboa prison last November.
