Adviser to the Minister of Health in Gaza Dr. Fathi Abu Warda said on Saturday that the epidemiological situation in Gaza is still in a state of seriousness, indicating that the rate of infection with the Coronavirus exceeded 35%, and the number of serious cases reached 312.
Abu Warda said, in an interview with Voice of Palestine Radio that the rate of bed occupancy for coronavirus patients reached 81%, reiterating the need for citizens to continue with safety laws, warning of an increase in cases and symptoms during the coming weeks, coinciding with the cold weather.
On the other hand, he indicated that the seasonal flu vaccine had arrived in the Gaza Strip the day before yesterday, calling on the elderly and patients with chronic diseases to go to primary care centers to receive it.
