Days of Palestine – Hebron
Israeli settlers on Thursday uprooted dozens of olive trees east of Yatta in the Hebron Governorate in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
The Coordinator of the Popular and National Committees to Resist the Wall and Settlement, Ratib Jabour, stated that settlers uprooted olive trees from their roots in the Tuwani area, estimated at 35 trees, and stole them, and the trees belong to the El-Arini family.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that settlers uproot olive trees in order to plant them in settlements built on citizens ’lands.
