Chairman of the Arab Parliament, Adel Al-Asoumi called on the international community to reject the racist bill to settle and finance settlement outposts in the opt, after the occupation parliament approved the first reading of the draft law, which provides for the obligation of the various ministries in the occupation government to provide all settlement outposts in the occupied West Bank with infrastructure services in order to legitimize it.
In statements addressed to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the President of the European Parliament, the President of the European Parliament affirmed that the Arab Parliament rejected the bill as an explicit challenge to the international legitimacy decisions, especially since the UN Security Council Resolution (2334) in 2016 Which confirmed the illegality of all forms of settlement in all the occupied Palestinian territories.
In his speeches, Al-Osoumi stressed the need to take the necessary measures to reject the draft law on settlement and financing outposts and other racist bills aginst the right of the Palestinian people, and to pressure the occupation government and its parliament to immediately stop continuing to legitimize the occupation policy, which is a clear violation of international law.
