The Palestinian Prisoners Society has announced, on Sunday, that its offices in the occupied West Bank will be closed.
Chairman of the organization, Qaddura Fares, said that the offices has been mainly closed due to the ongoing financial crisis.
Fares said that the organisation has laid off most of its employeed due to its inability to pay their salaries.
Half of the funding for the Palestinian Prisoners Society comes from the Palestinian Authority. The PA itself is in the middle of a funding crisis.
