Israeli forces have demolished two under-construction Palestinian buildings in the town of Anata, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, according to local sources.
Israeli bulldozers stormed into the town and demolished the two-story building – one is 200 square meters and the other is 150 square meters – under the pretext that they were built without a license, according to Taha Rifai, Mayor of Anata.
“’Anata is a Palestinian town in the Jerusalem Governorate in the central West Bank, located four kilometers northeast of Jerusalem’s Old City. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, ‘Anata had a population of 9,600 in 2006”
