The Israeli occupation forces on Sunday afternoon intensified their presence and security measures around the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of Hebron.
According to local sources, the Israeli forces at the entrances leading to the Mosque prevented Muslim worshipers from entering the Mosque and allowed to Jewish settlers to defile it.
The Israeli occupation forces also prevented journalists from doing their job, expelled them from the Mosque and deleted all the photos and videos from their cameras.
The journalists were covering the Israeli arbitrary measures against the Muslim worshipers and the descration of the Islamic holy site by Jewish settlers.
The Ibrahimi Mosque Mu’addin was also banned from reciting Adhan (call to prayer) for the evening prayers of Maghrib and Isha.
