Palestinian family on Sunday was forced to demolish its own house in the Arab town of 'Ara in the Haifa District in northern occupied Palestine, following an Israeli court’s decision to dismiss the family's appeal against the demolition order that cited unpermitted construction as a pretext.
The owner of the house and mother of four, Dalia Julani, said the family was forced to demolish its own house to avoid paying exorbitant fees if the 'Israeli municipality crews' demolish it.
She said that they bought a piece of land where the house was built on after living in rental homes for many years, and now her family has become homeless and is forced to search for a rental home to accommodate her family.
