Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, has mourned Mahmoud al-Adham, one of its fighters from Jabalia in Gaza. He was shot dead on Wednesday in an Israeli shooting attack.
In a press release, al-Qassam Brigades accused the Israeli occupation of intentionally opening fire at Adham while he was on duty at one of its border observation points in the north of Gaza.
The Brigades said it launched a full-scale investigation into the incident, warning that “the enemy will bear the consequences of this criminal act.”
On Thursday morning, the Palestinian health ministry in Gaza announced the death of a Palestinian young man in a shooting attack on a resistance post in the east of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza, without stating if the victim was a resistance fighter from al-Qassam Brigades.
Later, al-Qassam Brigades stated that the victim was one of its fighters who are responsible for guarding Gaza border areas, identifying him as 28-year-old Mahmoud al-Adham.
