A number of Palestinian citizens were injured on Friday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at peaceful protesters demonstrating in the Great March of Return on Gaza border.
The Ministry of Health said that 10 Palestinians were injured by IOF gunfire east of the Gaza Strip.
A mass demonstration is set to be launched along the border between the Gaza Strip and the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories on Saturday, 30 March, to mark the anniversary of the Great March of Return after a year in which the Israeli occupation army have shot thousands of protesters.
The anniversary comes at a time of heightened tensions between the Israeli occupation and Palestinian resistance groups in the Gaza Strip.
