Palestinian protester from Gaza succumbed to his wounds sustained on Land Day, the first Friday of Great March of Return, medical sources said on Monday morning.
The protester was identified as Marwan Qudieh, 45, and he had been in the ICU at Nasser Hospital in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis.
Qudieh’s death brings the total number of the unarmed and peaceful protesters killed on Land Day to 20 and the total protesters killed since the start of the Great March or Return to 30.
In addition to the deaths, the Israeli occupation forces have killed since the start of the activities of the Great March of Return to about 3,000, including more than 65 suffering serious wounds.
