Days of Palestine, London -Palestinian refugee from London, who won Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge, banned from grand final then allowed thanked supporters and slammed critics.

Leanne, from Wanstead School in East London, thanked her supporters who stood beside her when she was ruled out from the grand final of the competition.

The little girl, whose origins go back to a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, delivered her wining speech earlier this month with the title ‘Birds not Bombs.’

In her speech, she spoke about the plight of the Palestinian refugees, stating that “from 1948 until this very day more than 30,000 defenceless Palestinian children have been killed.”

Consequently, Israeli trolls protested against her, denying that the Israeli Zionist had slaughtered Palestinians and expelled thousands of them from their lands. They called for the British organisation to expel the girl from the competition.

The Organisation, followed the instructions of the Zionists, expelling her, taking down the video of her speech from its YouTube Channel and deleting her pictures and the news about her from its web page.

Following to this, the organisation came under much pressure from the public all over the world as activists sent messages and ran tweet storms in support for Leanne and criticising the organisation, which retreated its decision and allowed Leanne to go to the grand final.

Leanne herself was astonished and criticised the organisation’s decision, tweeting on her own twitter account: “Why is it called a ‘Speak Out Challenge’ when I am then silenced?”

During the time of protest, many pro-Israeli trolls sent her shameful messages and tweeted appalling phrases about the 15-year-old Palestinian refugee.

Replying on them, she said: “Absolutely appalled to receive such hateful messages from adults on twitter. I am 15 years old. You should be ashamed. Police have been informed.”

For her supporters, she also tweeted: “I would like to thank everyone for all the wonderful support I have received, overwhelmingly from so many of you that I do not know.”
