Days of Palestine, West Bank -An Israeli settler has run over a 60-year-old Palestinian lady in Jordan valley, leaving her dead and her 30-year-old daughter critically wounded.
Palestinian medical sources said that the body Palestinian old lady Zeinab al-Rashaydeh, 60, was brought to Jericho Hospital after she was run over by a car.
The sources also said that Fatema Yassin, 30, daughter of the old lady, was admitted to the hospital suffering from critical wounds caused by a car accident.
Eyewitnesses and Palestinian security sources said that an Israel settler approached the old lady and her daughter in Jordan Valley, deviated his car towards them and hit them directly.
The eyewitnesses said that the old lady was holding the hand of her daughter with one hand and holding a stick with the other hand.
“When the settler got closer to them,” the eyewitnesses said, “the old lady raised the stick, waving to him as she thought he was not seeing them.

But he hit them and fled the scene very fast.”
According to the Palestinian police, the settler fled the Palestinian territories and after a while they were informed by the Israeli occupation authorities that he surrendered himself to the Israeli police.
