Days of Palestine, Reports –The UN Security Council might vote on Israeli withdrawal from Palestinian lands occupied in 1967 in November, Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Fayed Mustafa said Wednesday.
“Possibly, it could happen next month. We will finish consultations in the near future,” Mustafa told reporters at a press conference held at the Rossiya Segodnya news agency.

“The draft resolution has been discussed with a number of countries. … Nine of 15 [Security Council] members have supported the resolution, they are already familiar with the project,” the ambassador said without naming any specific countries.
Palestinian Authority is seeking the creation of an independent state on the territories of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank including East Jerusalem, occupied after the 1967 war.
Israeli occupation withdrew from Gaza in 2005, but since mid-2007 it has been ever since enforcing a land, air and sea blockade of the territory.

Earlier in October, Palestine worked out a UN Security Council draft resolution that calls for the end of Israeli occupation before November 2016.
