Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation forces arrested on Saturday Palestinian in the West Bank city of Al-Khalil.
Local Palestinian sources said that the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Sosia in the south of Al-Khalil and arrested the Palestinian citizen Ahmed al-Haddar, 35, from his house.
The sources said that the Israeli troops also assaulted a number of the Palestinian citizens in the village after they had removed a tent erected by the illegal Israeli settlers.
Residents of the village told Days of Palestine that the Israeli settlers have been trying to expand the borders of the illegal Israeli Settlement of Sosia, which has been built on the Palestinians’ land.
Casualty in Silwad
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces fired live bullets at the Palestinian demonstrators in the neighbourhood of Silwad, to the east of the West bank city of Ramallah.
Witnesses told Days of Palestine that the Palestinian demonstrator was shot in the leg with a live bullet fired directly by an Israeli soldier towards him.
The man was rushed to hospital for treatment and Palestinian medical sources described his condition as “stable.

On Friday, the Israeli occupation forces shot to death the 14-year old Palestinian boy Orwa Hamed, who was passing near Israeli troops, who were involved in dispersing a Palestinian protest in the neighbourhood of Silwad.
Several Palestinian citizens were wounded during the clashes erupted after the death of Hamed and today’s demonstrations were part of Hamed’s funeral processions.
