July 2014 marks 10 years since the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruled the construction of the Israeli Apartheid Wall in the occupied Palestinian West Bank illegal under international law.
The ICJ ruled that the Israeli occupation is legally obliged to dismantle the Wall and to make reparations for all damaged caused. Yet construction continues to this day, devastating every aspect of Palestinian life.
In addition, the ICJ ruled that third states are under an obligation not to recognise, aid or assist the illegal situation resulting from the construction of the Wall.
