Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip/Jerusalem –Israeli occupation forces fired on Thursday morning live bullets at Gaza fishermen; arrested ten Palestinians in Jerusalem.
Witnesses told Days of Palestine that the Israeli navy fired live bullets at the Palestinian fishermen sailing in the Mediterranean off the Gaza coast.
They also said that at several shells were fired from the Israeli navy warships towards the fishing boats of the Gaza fishermen.
No casualties were reported, but the fishermen left their work and immediately fled to safety.
Based on the ceasefire deal reached between the Palestinians and the Israelis in Cairo on August 26, the fishing zone off the Gaza coasts has been expanded to six nautical miles and was decided to be expanded later on to 12 nautical miles.
“What is clear until now is the continuous Israeli violation for the deal as the Israeli navy continues daily firing at fishermen,” Hussein Ahmed, fishermen, said.
Arrests in Jerusalem
Meanwhile, in wake of the riots erupted on Wednesday in Jerusalem, the Israeli forces carried out an arrest campaign against Palestinians in Jerusalem and occupied Palestine.
Days of Palestine reporter said that the Israeli occupation forces arrested ten Palestinians, including one woman.

They were investigated in Al-Qashleh investigation centre in Jerusalem and then were moved to Al-Maskobiyeh Prison.”
On Wednesday, tens of Palestinians were wounded as the Israeli police escorted extremist Israeli settlers, including Israeli Minister of Housing Uri Ariel to Al-Aqsa Mosque.
